This is to inform the general public, students, parents, business associates, franchisees, and all concerned stakeholders that NIFD/INIFD is the lawful and exclusive entity entitled to use the name “NIFD/INIFD” and any abbreviation, derivative, representation, or variation thereof.
It has come to our notice that certain institutes, organizations, companies, and other entities are unlawfully using or referencing the name “NIFD/INIFD” in their business names, abbreviations, initials, domain names, social media platforms, promotional materials, advertisements, or by representing themselves as “formerly known as” or “associated with” NIFD/INIFD.
We hereby categorically state as under:
As per the binding directions and orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, no entity other than NIFD/INIFD is permitted to use the name “NIFD/INIFD” in any form whatsoever.
Any use of the name “NIFD/INIFD”, whether directly, indirectly, deceptively, or by way of misrepresentation, constitutes:
Infringement
Passing off
Unfair trade practice
Contempt of court
Any representation suggesting current or past affiliation, association, franchise, partnership, or continuation under the name “NIFD/INIFD” without lawful authorization is false, misleading, and illegal.
Any entity that has previously been associated with NIFD/INIFD and has since separated or parted ways does not have any right to continue using, referring to, or advertising itself under the name “NIFD/INIFD”, or as “formerly known as NIFD/INIFD.”
The public is advised to exercise due caution and verify credentials before enrolling, associating, or entering into any transaction with institutes or entities using the name “NIFD/INIFD” without authorization.
NIFD/INIFD reserves all rights to initiate strict civil and criminal proceedings against any individual or entity found violating the above, including but not limited to:
Injunction proceedings
Claims for damages and compensation
Criminal complaints for cheating and misrepresentation
Proceedings for contempt of court
This notice shall be treated as a final and formal warning.
Any continued unauthorized usage after publication of this notice shall attract immediate legal action without further intimation.
